How do I book a room at The Canopy Hotel?

Is there on-site parking at Canopy Hotel?
There is parking available in a garage underneath the hotel. Desiring God will cover the cost of your parking!
What portions of the event can my spouse attend?
Your spouse is warmly invited to join us for dinner and Q&A with John Piper on Sunday, August 30. They are also welcome to visit the Desiring God office and join the dinner/late night event on Monday, August 31. We ask that spouses not attend the Campus Leader Summit sessions, as those are designed specifically for the invited campus ministry leaders.
Is there a dress code for the weekend?
There is no formal dress code. We recommend casual attire and want you to be comfortable. Polos, button-downs, shorts, jeans, and comfortable shoes are all appropriate.
What will the weather be like in Minneapolis in August/September?
Expect warmer weather! The lows are anticipated to be in the 70s and the highs in the 90s.
Will meals be provided?
Yes! Desiring God will be providing meals, indicated on the schedule, in the Thresher Ballroom.
What attractions are nearby?
Some of the attractions within walking distance of The Canopy are the Mill City Museum, Gold Medal Park, and Mill Ruins Park.
Will the sessions be live-streamed or recorded?
No, the sessions will not be live-streamed or recorded.
Will there be time for networking?
Absolutely! One of the primary reasons we're gathering in person is to build relationships with one another. The schedule has been intentionally designed to include plenty of time for conversation, connection, and getting to know fellow campus ministry leaders.
